Mejia-Ramirez, 29, allegedly helped  move McHenry’s body to the sidewalk after she overdosed.

The criminal complaint alleges that in the earlier morning hours of Aug. 14, Mejia-Ramirez and “two other male individuals” placed McHenry’s body above the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx. Police found McHenry slumped on the sidewalk a few hours later.

Mejia-Ramirez was released on $1,500 bail on Oct. 26. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

According to published reports, McHenry was about 20 weeks pregnant when she was found unresponsive after a night out celebrating her birthday.

Videos posted on her Instagram Story showed McHenry went to The Frederick Hotel, the Soho Grand Hotel and the Dream Hotel.

At around 5 a.m. she was found on the sidewalk, partially dressed. She had on a pajama top and underwear, but no pants, the New York Daily News reported. Police sources told the outlet there was a baggie of cocaine near her body.

A man who lives in the neighborhood told the Daily News the area is not safe at night.

“She shouldn’t have been on this block at nighttime,” said George Smith. “I’m a man, and I wouldn’t walk down here by myself. That’s a fact.”

McHenry was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
