The movie premieres Oct. 18 at 8/7c

Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie follows Kai (Garcelle Beauvais), a tenacious trucker and co-owner of her family’s business, who is thrown into a harrowing manhunt after her sister Madison’s (Marci T House) neurodivergent daughter, Toy (Sierra Sidwell), is abducted by an online predator. The movie brings attention to the inequities in media coverage of missing girls of color. The film premieres Oct. 25 on Lifetime at 8/7c.

  1. I am beyond excited for Lifetime’s October lineup, especially The Widow’s Payback starring the incredible Bianca Lawson! Her portrayal of Amanda Bibbs, a widow who bravely dives into the dangerous world to uncover the truth behind her husband’s murder, sounds absolutely gripping. Bianca always delivers such powerful performances, and pairing her with Kheon Clarke as the villainous Percy “Slide” Daye just raises the stakes even higher. This thriller promises suspense, heart, and jaw-dropping twists that I can’t wait to see! October 18 can’t come soon enough—count me in for every intense moment!
