Lifetime has announced a new slate of crime thrillers featuring all-star casts.

Lela Rochon, Tami Roman, Eva Marcille and Tyler Lepley lead the casts of the films involving deception, murder and twisted loyalties.

The movies are based on real events and debut on consecutive Saturday nights this month on Lifetime, the network said in a recent press release.

Lela Rochon stars as “Monica White” a mom who is finally ready to start dating again and focus on herself after sending her son off to military school.

Monica meets a man (Jarod Joseph) online, and discovers a dangerous secret. “When she begins connecting the dots between Anthony’s past and a string of murders haunting her community, Monica realizes she may be the key to ending the deadly rampage.”

Elisabeth Rohm is an executive producer and directs from a script written by David Weaver and Miriam van Emst. The Dating App Killer: The Monica White Story is produced by Navid Soofi for PF Birch Productions Inc. in association with Rohm Feifer Entertainment and Studio TF1 America.

Double Double Trouble
Premieres Feb. 21 at 8/7c
Tami Roman leads the cast and executive produces the film about a woman trying to rebuild her life after a devastating miscarriage and the collapse of her marriage.

The film finds Drea (Roman) struggling when her identical twin sister Ali (also played by Tami Roman) finds love with Ryan (Colin Lawrence), a man who represents everything Drea believes she’s lost.

“As old wounds, buried resentments, and twisted loyalties resurface, Drea is pulled into a dangerous psychological battle with her twin.”

Gabriel Correa directs from a script by Sa’Rah L. Jones. Double Double Trouble is produced by Navid Soofi for PF Cherry Productions Inc. in association with Studio TF1 America.

Eva Marcille and Tyler Lepley reteam after previously co-starring in Lifetime’s Buried Alive and Survived.

In the new film, Marcille stars as “Jaynie,” who miraculously cheats death after her husband Cole’s (Lepley) betrayal. Jaynie is seriously injured in a skydiving nightmare after falling 4,000 feet from the sky.

But what she thought was an accident turns into “a chilling tale of deception and survival. Determined to expose the man she once loved as a con artist, Jaynie fights to uncover his web of lies and bring him to justice before it’s too late.”

Manu Boyer directs from a script written by Gregory Small and Richard Blaney. The film is produced for Lifetime by Swirl Films. Eric Tomosunas, Manu Boyer and Ron Robinson serve as executive producers.
