Jonathan Majors wants fans to know he’s doing “ok,” after falling from a window while filming an upcoming indie movie.

TMZ caught up with the actor over the weekend and asked him about the mishap on the set of the untitled action film from conservative Daily Wire media personality Ben Shapiro and producer Dallas Sonnier.

“I’m ok,” Majors said. “I was happy to be on set and help tell the story. I am grateful for whoever is checking on me, the cast and crew for regarding our safety. It’s going to be a great movie and I am looking forward to fans seeing it!”

On Friday, Deadline broke the story about the on-set incident, saying Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne were filming a scene last month in South Carolina that involved the actors dodging gunfire.

As the two backed up to avoid the gunshots, they crashed through a tempered glass window and fell “six feet to the ground.” Kilcoyne reportedly suffered cuts “all over his hands” and needed stitches. He is now said to be “doing well.”

Leaked video from the set showed the two actors with their hands up before suddenly falling from the window. Concerned crew members ran over and looked down at the ground.

The crew reported there’s been one problem after another with the production. The window incident was apparently the final straw and on March 26, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) called a strike against the film.

Producer Sonnier dismissed the work stoppage, telling Deadline producers were “too busy being bad asses, blowing s–t up, flying helicopters, and killing movie terrorists to concern ourselves with four assh—s with signs on the sidewalk and their illegitimate ‘strike.’”

Majors once starred in big-budget Hollywood action films like Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. But in March 2023, his then-girlfriend accused him of assault. He was arrested and found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December 2023.

Disney dropped him from future Marvel projects, and he’s now taking on roles in indie projects.
