Drew Sidora has spoken out after new details emerged about her divorce battle with estranged husband Ralph Pittman.
On Sunday, April 12, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star issued a statement on social media, following news a Georgia judge ordered her to leave the couple’s marital home.
“Good morning. Some details regarding my divorce have recently become public, although the process is not yet finalized. During this time, Ralph and I are committed to co-parenting and doing what’s best for our children,” Drew began.
The singer, actress and reality star continued by saying being a celebrity comes with “challenges,” but she vowed to move forward with “grace, growth, and intention.”
She concluded, “My children are my priority, and I’m committed to leading with love, peace, and positivity. There is no ill intent toward anyone just a continued focus on healing, evolving, and becoming the best version of myself.”
Drew and Ralph split in 2023 after nearly nine years of marriage. But they continue to live in the same house, citing financial challenges. Drew sleeps upstairs and Ralph lives in the basement.
They share son Machai, 10, and daughter Aniya, 8. Drew also has an older son named Josiah from a previous relationship.
Last week TMZ reported a judge ordered the mother-of-three to leave the family’s home by May 31, and granted Ralph primary physical custody of the two younger children during the school year. The judge ruled Drew can spend time with the kids on alternate weekends starting in August.
Her ex is also allowed to come upstairs to get the children ready for school. A rep for Pittman declined comment on the judge’s order.
The decision was based on claims that the kids missed too many days of school while Drew had primary custody.
Earlier today, TMZ published a new report saying the Step Up actress responded to the judge’s order, saying she doesn’t have the “financial resources” to move out of the house next month.
The outlet cited court documents saying Drew would be “homeless” if she’s forced out of the home. She added that she makes significantly less money than Ralph. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is a global client director at a tech company.
On the season 15 reunion of RHOA, Drew said Ralph had repeatedly cheated. “You’ve always chosen other women over me,” she said to Ralph who was seated on set.
He fired back by accusing Drew of stepping out with other women, and alleged she had an affair with WNBA star Ty Young before filing for divorce.
“I’ve seen a lot of evidence behind it,” Ralph said. Drew walked off the set in tears.
