Syleena Johnson and Vivica A. Fox are partnering on a new talk show set to launch in October on the In the Black Network (ITBN).
The Cocktails With Queens stars will be joined by co-hosts Chanel Nicole Scott and Kendra G. on the show titled Crowned, which is scheduled to premiere in October.
The weekly program will feature the four hosts discussing current issues and offering “unfiltered perspectives” that will “straighten each other’s crowns,” ITBN said in a press release. The show will also include live musical performances by special guest artists.

ITBN is an upcoming advertising-based Video on Demand platform founded by James DuBose, who previously worked with Fox and Johnson at Fox Soul.
“At In The Black Network, we want to offer content that speaks directly to the community and provide programming that’s entertaining, inspiring and educational,” DuBose said in a statement.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to work with amazing talent like Vivica, Syleena, Chanel, and Kendra,” he added.
Crowned will air each Monday and is the first show on ITBN, which is scheduled to debut on Oct 2.
The network is being touted as “bringing a wide array of free entertainment content that amplifies Black storytellers and culture — from feature films and scripted series to talk shows, sports, music and family-friendly programs.”
ITBN will fill out its programming schedule via a partnership with faith-based entertainment platform MergeTV. The partnership will bring faith-based content from executive producer Dr. Holly Carter, including episodes of MergeTV’s original series Finding My Romeo with Romeo Miller, Marriage Retreat with The Freemans, Preachers! Wedding Edition, and Unchurched Girls.
ITBN is also teaming up with Homestead Entertainment for scripted programming, including the films Asbury Park (2021), Meeting Boone (2022), Regrets (2021), In a Sentimental Mood (2021), and Paper Heart (2021). ITBN officially debuts on Oct. 2, 2023.

I believe this will be great just with Vivica and Salena. I’m sorry, Claudia Jordan and LisaRaye McCoy brought the show “Cocktails with Queens” down. They both are colorist and I’m glad the two brains of that show will be on a new platform.
