Season 12 of Basketball Wives may have been the most explosive and controversial season yet.
Now the shade, a questionable Paris wedding, deadbeat parent claims, and that mother-daughter fight will re-air on BET, the network announced on social media teasing: “The season that had timelines in shambles is coming to BET.”
Exactly one week after the season wrapped on VH1, it will debut on sister network BET, starting Aug. 4.

The season 12 finale titled “Threesome, Two, One, Action!” originally aired July 28.
For fans who missed the episode, it showed the cast unpacking their group trip to Hawaii and the physical altercation between Jackie Christie and her daughter Chantel Christie-Jeffries.
Once the women returned to Los Angeles, Jennifer Williams went to visit Jackie to see how she was doing after the Hawaii drama.
Jackie wasn’t ready to discuss what happened and instead brought up a rumor she heard that the married Brandi Maxiell might be hooking up with Ming Lee and someone else.
“It’s so crazy to me how Jackie wants to talk about everybody else’s s–t, girl why are you speculating that Brandi is cheating on her husband and doing threesomes? Let’s talk about what you got going on,” Jennifer said in a confessional interview.
While Jennifer thought the rumor was “crazy,” she still told others and word got back to Brandi.
“It was brought to my attention that you were spreading rumors that I was having an affair and having threesomes with Ming,” Brandi said as she confronted Jen.
But the real fireworks of the night were between Brittany Renner and Evelyn Lozada.
Jennifer told the ladies Brittany thinks some of them are “low vibrational,” leading to a standoff between Brittany and Evelyn.
The two hurled jaw-dropping insults, that were shocking even by Basketball Wives standards. You can read the full recap here.
Earlier in the season, the focus was on Jennifer and her new marriage to investor Christian Gold.
The two exchanged vows last September in Paris. But not everyone approved of Jennifer marrying the much younger man, because of his past arrests and convictions.
Evelyn Lozada called Christian a “scammer” and told Jennifer to “stop faking” being a wife because the marriage wasn’t even legal.
“He’s not your husband, he’s your boyfriend,” a furious Evelyn said.
On the red carpet ahead of the season 12 premiere, Jennifer told us she blocks out the noise from her castmates and threw shade at Evelyn.
“I know people have had things to say, some of my castmates, but when you’ve had no successful marriages, you are in no place to give any advice,” Jennifer told Urban Hollywood 411, without mentioning Evelyn’s name.
Jennifer and Christian eventually had a “legal wedding” is Las Vegas, putting all the rumors to rest.
The entire cast made the trip to Vegas and there was an epic fight between Jackie and Brittany, after a string of insults.
During a night on the town, Jackie questioned Brittany’s spiritual journey after Brittany asked her, “How many drinks have you had?”
“I had this water, baby. How many have you had — under your hijab?” Jackie responded.
“What are you bringing up my hijab for?” Brittany shot back.
“I’m saying what I’m f–king saying. That’s what I’m doing,” Jackie told her.
The two went back and forth until a fed up Jackie said, “Girl, you better sit your little ass down. I’m not the one, b–ch.”
Moments later, Jackie jumped over a sofa, and Brittany took off running. Luckily (for Brittany), security, Ty Young, and a visiting Shaunie Henderson held Mrs. Christie back.
Anyway, Basketball Wives jumps to BET on Monday, Aug. 4 at 8/7c.
