Remy Ma picked up her pen and set it off with estranged husband Papoose and his girlfriend Claressa Shields.
The New York rapper came out swinging on a new diss track titled “W.Y.F.L.” — short for “Why You F–king Lying” — released April 10, on the “On The Radar” music platform.
While she didn’t name names, it’s kind of obvious Remy was taking verbal jabs at Papoose and Claressa, who’ve declared their love on social media and on Tamron Hall.
As soon as the booming beat started, Remy called out someone she insisted was barely worth her time.
“Watch how you talk to me/ I’m a mogul b—h/ You gettin’ surgery in exchange for promo b—h/ I’m a king on a yacht like some YOLO s–t / You keep jumping on my d–k like a pogo stick,” she rapped.
Remy continued to take aim at a woman she said will never be a “baddie.”
“Don’t know that b–h / Hoes be doing the most over so-so d–k,” she said.
After seemingly torching Claressa, Remy appeared to come for Papoose, who called his estranged wife “miserable” on a 2025 Instagram Live and claimed he was her ghostwriter, declaring: “I have written 90 percent of the rhymes that came out of her mouth.”
Remy slammed the claim in her freestyle and essentially called her ex a loser.
“The nerve of n–as claiming they wrote those hits / When they whole career they ain’t never ghost wrote s–t /Not for me or anybody else/ You always act like you helped a n—a, go help yourself,” she said.
“On the Radar” posted video of Remy at the mic on Instagram, and the clip currently has more than 500,000 likes. The rapper even jumped in the comments section and wrote, “Five million views in 24 hours.”
Remy’s feud with Love & Hip Hop: New York star Papoose, born Shamele Mackie, and Olympic gold medal-winning boxer Claressa exploded on social media in 2024.
At the time, Papoose called his wife a “narcissist,” and said she allegedly cheated “repeatedly” throughout their 16-plus year relationship.
Remy responded by sharing what she said were private text messages between Claressa and Papoose.
The boxing champion was not pleased. On Dec. 12, 2024, Claressa blasted Remy on X, writing: “I can’t believe a 45 year old woman is crashing out like this. (clown emoji) behavior.” In a follow-up post, Claressa said the text messages were “fake.”
