Savannah Guthrie and her siblings have made an emotional appeal for their missing mother to be returned to her family.

Savannah posted a video to social media on Wednesday night, Feb. 4, and asked the person who abducted her mom, Nancy Guthrie, to provide proof of life.

The Today show co-host noted that Nancy is 84 years old and has serious health problems.

“Her heart is fragile. She lives in serious pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive, she needs it not to suffer,” Savannah said as she sat next to her sister Annie and her brother Camron.

The news anchor then addressed reports that emerged Tuesday about a ransom letter, and said the family wants indisputable evidence, that has not been manipulated by artificial intelligence, proving Nancy is unharmed.

“We need to know without a doubt that she is alive, and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us,” she said pointedly to the kidnapper.

“Mommy, if you are hearing this, you are a strong woman. You are God’s precious daughter, Nancy. We believe and know that even in this valley, he is with you,” she added through tears. “Your children will not rest until we are together again.”

Nancy was reported missing to authorities in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 1, after a friend noticed she never made it to church. She was last seen at her home around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, after returning from visiting with relatives.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday that investigators have not identified a suspect or a person of interest.

At a televised news conference Tuesday, Sheriff Chris Nanos told reporters, “We do believe that Nancy was taken from her home against her will.”

The FBI is assisting in the case by providing “analytical and technical support,” Jon Edwards, assistant special agent in charge of the FBI field office in Tucson, said at the news conference.

NBC News reported Wednesday evening that investigators are testing what appears to be blood found outside Nancy’s home. Officials told the outlet her pacemaker stopped communicating with a monitoring app on Sunday morning.

President Trump released a statement tonight, saying the federal government will be providing additional resources to assist with the search.

“I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing all federal law enforcement to be at the family’s, and local law enforcement’s complete disposal, immediately,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
