Christmas came early for several families in Burbank, California, who were treated to a Walmart shopping spree courtesy of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The WWE legend and his men’s skincare brand Papatui partnered with YMCA Los Angeles chapters to make sure the families have a merry Christmas.

Johnson posted video of the giveaway to social media on Friday, Dec. 18, and said the families didn’t know they would be getting free gifts.

The footage showed him walking into the store with a bullhorn, and wearing a hat that said “Dwanta” Claus.

One little boy had no clue who the tall man wearing the red and white hat was and asked, “Who are you?”

The actor laughed, then answered: ” Who am I? That’s a great question. I ask my therapist that all the time.”

Johnson wrote on X and Instagram, “So I pulled up to @Walmart and surprised some beautiful families from the YMCA. Gave out a few buck$, gave out some toys and 5 Golden Tickets. As long as you can fit it in the cart, on the cart and it STAYS IN the cart, then you TAKE IT ALL HOME!!”

He added, “Meetings these families made my day. Thank you everyone for being so kind and cool.” Johnson signed the post “Dwanta,” using his holiday moniker.

According to MyBurbank.com, each family was given stockings filled with gifts. Johnson also handed out $500 Walmart gift certificates and a year’s supply of Papatui.

Five lucky kids got the ultimate gift — a “Papatui Dwanta Golden Ticket” hidden inside their stockings. The tickets came with a chance to fill a cart with as many items as it would hold. Johnson suggested the kids head toward the electronics department.

The actor has said he spent a lot of time at the YMCA when he was growing up in Hawaii.

Speaking of holiday surprises, earlier this month Johnson picked up his first-ever Golden Globe nomination for his performance in the film The Smashing Machine.

The biographical sports drama tells the story of real-life wrestler and MMA fighter Mark Kerr and is now in theaters.
