Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Karlie Redd got good news this week — a felony burglary charge against her has been dismissed.
The reality star’s attorney, Steve Sadow, announced the news Wednesday, Oct. 22, on Instagram.
“The bogus case against my client, Karlie Redd (Lewis), one of the stars of the show, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, has been dismissed!” Sadow wrote in the post.

Karlie, whose legal name is Karlie Lewis, commented on the post: “Best Attorney EVER.”
Sadow’s post included an Oct. 21 order signed by DeKalb County Superior Court Judge LaTisha Dear Jackson for the case to be tossed out.
“While probable cause exists, the State is unable to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt,” the order said. It was signed by DeKalb County Assistant District Attorney Jordan Riser.
Karlie landed on cops’ radar in January 2025.
According to court documents obtained by 11 Alive News, police accused the reality star of entering a private home in DeKalb County, and allegedly stealing a watch and birth certificate. The court docs said the incident occurred between Jan. 13 and Jan. 15.
Initially, police withheld the name of the homeowner, but Sadow told the media it was Karlie’s estranged husband, Teleau Belton.
Belton contacted police and an investigation was launched.
Karlie surrendered in April 2025, after authorities issued a warrant, and she was charged with felony burglary in the first degree.
“The warrant taken out on April 4 alleges Karlie’s husband is the claimed ‘victim.’ As everyone knows, Karlie and her husband are in the midst of a divorce proceeding, and her husband has previously been charged in Fulton County with family violence battery against her. I am very confident Karlie’s case will be resolved favorably,” Sadow said at the time.
Earlier this year, Urban Belle Magazine reported Karlie’s relationship with Now Thats TV network founder and CEO Teleau was woven into a storyline on LHHATL.
“Karlie confirmed to her costars she and Teleau had secretly married before filming. Despite rumors of Teleau being unfaithful, Karlie was dead set on planning a lavish wedding,” the outlet reported.
The marriage ended a short time later.
Karlie is a model, actress and rapper. She rose to prominence as a main cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, when the show premiered in 2012.
Prior to joining the VH1 reality series, she appeared on the network’s Scream Queens.
The New York native also had roles in the Chris Rock-directed film Top Five (2014), the BET+ movie Love & Murder: Atlanta Playboy (2023), and the Tubi film Happy Anniversary (2025), and she had a recurring role on Bounce TV series Saints & Sinners.
