Family Matters star Darius McCrary will be spending the weekend in jail, after running into trouble with law enforcement, again.
The actor was placed under “fugitive arrest” on Sunday, Oct. 5, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office’s online inmate records portal.
The website says he was taken into custody at 7:17 p.m. that day, by United States Border Patrol agents near the US-Mexico border. It’s unclear why he was at the border.

McCrary, 49, is currently being held at the San Diego Central Jail and is not eligible for bail at this time, according to the website.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 8:30 a.m., at which time a judge could grant him bail.
Earlier today, a rep for the actor told TMZ he was wanted in Michigan after missing a court appearance for failure to pay child support.
The outlet reported Darius was ordered to pay his ex-wife, Tammy Brawner, $1,366 per month in child support after they finalized their divorce in 2019, following a years-long legal battle.
The actor was previously taken into custody for failure to pay child support in 2015 and 2023.
McCrary is a former child star who rose to fame playing Edward “Eddie” Winslow on Family Matters from 1989 to 1998. The comedy, about a Black middle class family in Chicago, originated on ABC and later moved to CBS.
He appeared on 215 episodes of the sitcom, according to his IMDb page.
Since then, he’s had roles on numerous TV shows and movies.
