Charlamagne Tha God took Nicki Minaj to task on “The Breakfast Club” Thursday, for her recent social media posts.
The radio host dubbed Minaj “Donkey of the Day” — a moniker he uses to call out people for questionable behavior — on the Oct. 2 episode of the syndicated radio show.
Charlamagne said he was troubled by Minaj’s social media feud with fellow hip-hop star Cardi B, especially after the “Barbie World” rapper blasted “The Breakfast Club” hosts for talking about the music stars’ back-and-forth posts on air.

After calling Minaj by her government name of Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, Charlamagne called her out.
“Yesterday Nicki Minaj did what she does best lately, and that’s go on an unhinged rant about everything and everybody,” he said.
Charlamagne admitted there are more important things going on in the world, like the government shutdown, but said he wanted to respond to the rapper’s posts on the X platform.
He played a clip from Tuesday’s installment of “The Breakfast Club,” when the hosts commented on Nicki and Cardi’s vicious insults.
The radio hosts then read Nicki’s tweets directed at them for wading into her beef with Cardi.
Nicki called Charlamagne a “b–h.”
She referred to newsreader Loren LoRosa as “borin Loren,” and slammed co-host Jess Hilarious as “Jess with the testicles.”
Nicki tagged President Trump and urged him to “lock them all up” because they are “very nasty ppl.”

Charlamagne clapped back by calling the rapper “MAGA Minaj,” and said she has problems with countless people.
“Nicki has had smoke for [Lil] Kim, Cardi, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Doja Cat, SZA, Remy Ma, the list goes on and on,” he said.
Charlamagne admitted Nicki is rap royalty. But he warned, she is destroying her legacy and sullying her iconic albums like The Pinkprint.
“How does ‘The Pinkprint’ become ‘the stinkprint’? he asked.
“Your energy is just stank and nasty,” Charlamagne said. “You went from showing a generation how to be a female boss to showing a generation how to be a disgruntled artist. How does that happen? How do you go from inspiring a generation of young women to hating on a generation of young women? Well, that’s what happens when a person is in pain. That’s what happens when a person is hurting. That’s what happens when a person has a bunch of unhealed trauma that they haven’t dealt with.”
He mentioned her “personal issues” and said the rapper is “blaming the world” for decades of unhealed “pain.”
“When you refuse to come to terms with human nature, that simply means that you are dooming yourself to patterns beyond your control and to feelings of confusion and helplessness,” Charlamagne said. “And that’s what I see in every tweet. Confusion, a cry for help, projections of pain, a wounded ego.”
Charlamagne said he hopes she gets professional help — whether it be in therapy, a church or a mosque — and stops “crashing out.”
“Your trauma is not your fault, but your healing is your responsibility,” he said. “I truly, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, hope you heal.”
Nicki reignited her feud with Cardi B on Monday, Sept. 29, over sales of Cardi’s new album, per Complex.
“Minaj appeared to mock the $4.99 discount of Cardi’s new album Am I the Drama? Cardi fired back almost immediately and set off hours of increasingly hostile posts between the rappers,” the outlet reported.
Charlamagne said Nicki went too far with some of her responses and urged her to log off the X app.
He concluded, “Nicki, your trauma is not your fault, but your healing is your responsibility and I truly, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, hope you heal.”
