TV One marks Holy Week with the cable premiere of the faith-based movie Sinners Wanted.

The drama tells the story of Leo Shepherd (Kenneth Wayne), a pastor who falls in love with a prostitute named Ginger “Gigi” Clementine (Ashley Rios).

The ensemble cast includes Lamman Rucker, Traci Braxton, Clifton Powell, Roland Martin, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, Joseph Curtis Calendar, Hope Blackstock, Tiana Melvina Woods, and Nasir Rhamim.

“When asked to produce Sinners Wanted it was a no brainer,” executive producer Tressa Azarel Smallwood of MegaMind Media said in a statement. “I knew that a movie addressing forgiveness and judgement teetering around a pastor marrying a prostitute would change the thinking of many.”

In addition to Smallwood, the film is co-executive produced by Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr. and Gregory Freeman.

The film is written and directed by Joshua Jenkins and Jimmy Jenkins. Kia Freeman of Free Mind TV & Films serves as producer. Grammy Award-nominated gospel artist Anthony Brown is also a producer.

Sinners Wanted played at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2018.

The movie premieres Palm Sunday, April 5 at 4 P.M. ET/3C on TV One.
