A new group of celebrities will tell their stories on the TV One interview series Uncensored.

The cable network held a virtual press conference on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and unveiled the show’s 2026 lineup.

Among the stars featured in the new season will be Blair Underwood, Keke Palmer, Anthony Anderson, Kierra Sheard, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Shaunie Henderson, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Wood Harris, Marlo Hampton, and Laz Alonso.

Underwood joined Tuesday’s gathering to talk about his episode of the series. Urban Hollywood 411 asked if any topics were off limits when he sat down for his interview.

The Emmy Award-winning actor said he’s “an open book” and “jumped at the chance to tell my truth and my story.”

Uncensored explores the lives of Black celebrities as they provide first-hand accounts of their achievements and the obstacles they faced on the road to success. A premiere date for the new season will be announced later.

Owned by Urban One, TV One focuses on programming for African-American adults, while sister network Cleo TV targets younger Black women.

TV One and Cleo TV President Michelle L. Rice joined Tuesday’s presentation and said the two networks will continue to focus on “authentic storytelling and groundbreaking entertainment.”

The shows on Cleo TV center on food and cooking, travel, culture, and lifestyle.

Several Cleo TV stars took part in the press conference, including Chef Jernard Wells of New Soul Kitchen; Chef JJ Johnson of Just Eats; and Jazz and Jake Smollett of Living by Design.

Chef Wells answered a question on many people’s minds this holiday season — should you add pork or smoked turkey when cooking greens?

“That depends on the audience that you’re cooking for. You’re going to always have non-pork eaters that are going to come to the gathering. They’re the most self-righteous ones of them all,” he quipped. “Trust me, the smoked turkey will get the job done and everyone will be happy.”

But chef Johnson disagreed.

“I cook my greens for 45 minutes. I use no ham hocks (pork). I use no smoked turkey. It’s 100 percent vegetarian and you won’t even know about it,” he said.

Really?! We think we’d know, but okay.

Each of TV One’s cooking and lifestyle shows will air new episodes in 2026.
