Tubi is betting on a new slate of movies featuring popular content creators.

The Fox-owned streaming service announced a new partnership with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Productions on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

As part of the agreement, Hartbeat will produce four original movies led by YouTuber Kinigra Deon, plus “85 South Show” podcast hosts DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller.

Kinigra Deon is known for her hit digital series “Vampire Siblings” and “College Life.”

The “85 South Show” features Atlanta comedians Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly, and Chico Bean as they discuss culture, comedy, and chat with celebrity guests.

The new films will debut in 2026, marking Tubi’s first-ever “creator content slate” under the platform’s Creators Program.

“At Tubi, we’re building a space where emerging and established creators can bring bold, breakthrough ideas to life and reach new audiences on our platform,” Rich Bloom, Tubi’s general manager of creator programs and executive vice president of business development, said in a press release.

“This first slate of exclusive titles under Tubi for creators is an exciting milestone, and partnering with Hartbeat ensures we’re working with top-tier talent and voices that truly reflect our diverse audience. We’re proud to create a pathway for creators to break into Hollywood while staying true to their authentic voice,” Bloom added.

First up is Sundown, a supernatural thriller written, directed by and starring Kinigra Deon. The film follows “a group of Black college friends who take a wrong turn into a racially hostile town where local myths turn terrifyingly real,” per Tubi.

The second title is 85 South: Dead End starring up-and-coming comics DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller. The satirical horror-comedy centers on a  “Southern road trip gone off the rails in a mysteriously offbeat town where no one ever leaves.”

Details on the two other movies will be announced later.

“Through this partnership with Tubi, we’re excited to give talent like Kinigra Deon, DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller the space to bring their authentic voices — and their audiences — to a global streaming platform that celebrates creator-driven storytelling, delivering smart, funny, and fresh films that reflect the culture,” said Jeff Clanagan, president and chief distribution officer at Hartbeat.

Tubi is a free, ad-supported streaming service that was founded in 2014.

Heartbeat was founded by Kevin Hart, and produces movies, TV shows, and stand-up comedy specials.
