The view is clear, the future is bright, and season 29 is set to launch.

The hosts of The View announced on Monday, Aug. 25, the daytime talk show will return to ABC with new episodes in September.

In a video posted to the show’s social media channels, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah, and Ana Navarro revealed the upcoming season will kick off on Monday, Sept. 8.

“The countdown is on to an all new season of The View,” the ladies said.

“New season, new view, be there,” Behar added. “Let’s do this!” Hostin chimed in.

During season 28, The View ranked as the nation’s most-watched daytime talk show for a fifth straight year, per ABC.

The show brought in an average audience of just over 2 million total viewers per day, according to Nielsen figures. That was more than the third hour of Today, Today with Jenna & Friends, and NBC News Daily.

Each year, The View takes a summer hiatus. But that didn’t stop detractors from claiming the show had been canceled when it went on break after season 28.

The left-leaning hosts are frequent critics of President Donald Trump.

In April, Goldberg said she feared the Trump administration might try to target the program for exercising free speech.

“What I really want, what I want more than anything, is I want them to stop fooling around with my right to say what I feel,” she said.

“I don’t like being threatened,” Goldberg stated. “I don’t like being — I don’t like people running up on me. You don’t like what I say? This is America. I grew up here, and the one thing I always knew is I had freedom of speech.”

Meanwhile, Behar angered the  administration in July when she said Trump is “jealous” of former President Barack Obama.

“Obama is everything that he is not — trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and can sing Al Green’s song ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green. And Trump cannot stand it. It’s driving him crazy,” Behar said on air.

In response, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers suggested the show could be canceled.

“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Rogers stated, adding, Behar “should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air.”

Behar has been with The View since Barbara Walters created the program in 1997 to bring conversations about everyday issues to TV for female viewers.
