The Seattle Seahawks and Bad Bunny brought in a massive number of viewers, just not enough to top the 2025 Super Bowl.
Final figures released Tuesday, Feb. 10, show Super Bowl LX reached an average 124.9 million viewers on Sunday across NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NBC Sports Digital and NFL+.
That number includes live + same day Nielsen figures. It marked a dip from the 127.7 million viewers who watched the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs on Fox in 2025, which was the biggest audience in U.S. television history.
The 2026 Super Bowl was the second most-watched game of all time.
NBC noted in a press release that the number of viewers watching the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots peaked to a record 137.8 million viewers in the second quarter when Seattle led 6-0.
But the number of viewers dropped by the time the game was over with Seattle defeating New England 29-13.
Bad Bunny’s halftime performance reached an average 128.2 million viewers from 8:15-8:30 p.m. ET in the U.S., down from Kendrick Lamar’s record 133.5 million viewers during last year’s game. A detailed look at the global 2026 audience will be released next week, NBC said.
The Puerto Rican rapper and singer celebrated Latin American culture, unity and love in his 13-minute set, and was joined by Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga.
Bad Bunny, born Benito Martínez Ocasio, held up a football at the end of the performance with the words “together we are America” written on it.
