Pastor Mike Jr. has a new reason to celebrate and lift up his voice — he crushed the competition at the 40th Stellar Gospel Music Awards.
The Birmingham, Alabama minister and gospel artist won nine awards — sweeping ever category he was nominated in. The “I Got Away” performer also secured his fourth win as Artist of the Year.
Hosted by BeBe and CeCe Winans, the awards were taped Saturday, Aug. 16 at the historic Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN.

Among the night’s other winners, CeCe Winans took home the Albertina Walker Female Artist of the Year honor, Adia won for New Artist of the Year, and producer Don Jackson was awarded the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award.
The show was executive produced by Don Jackson, with Jennifer J. Jackson serving as producer and executive in charge of production. Michael A. Johnson produced and directed.
The ceremony airs Saturday, Aug. 30 at 8PM ET/7PM CT on the Stellar Network. You can also watch it on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 8PM ET/7PM CT on BET.
