Snoop Dogg brought holiday cheer, hip-hop beats, and special guests to this year’s NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show on Netflix.
Snoop’s longtime friend Martha Stewart kicked things off with a rap-themed version of “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” before introducing the headliner of “Snoop Dogg’s Holiday Halftime Party.”
Dressed in red from head to toe, The rapper performed with a 30-person choir, a marching band, and “Snoopette” dancers at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With Death Row Records artist Tonio Armani by his side, Snoop gave shout-outs to Long Beach, Compton, and the state of Minnesota as he fired off the hit singles “Nuthin’ But A G Thang,” “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” along with the Christmas tune “My Favorite Things.”

Next up, the singing voices of HUNTR/X: Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami from KPop Demon Hunters belted out “12 Days of Christmas.”
Country music superstar Lainey Wilson performed “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from a sleigh. Surprise guests Andrea and Matteo Bocelli closed the show with a rendition of “White Christmas,” before all of the performers returned to the stage.
“From my family to your family, Merry Christmas!” Snoop Dogg said before the second half of the game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings — which the Vikings won.

Netflix posted a clip on X of the halftime show and it got high marks from viewers.
“Really good show! Something for everyone and the production was amazing!” one person replied.
“This is honestly how I wish halftime shows were in the Super Bowl,” someone else wrote.
“Snoop just reminded everyone what a real halftime vibe looks like,” another viewer chimed in.
“Best halftime show since Prince! So good. Thank you for making my Christmas Day amazing!!!” another person wrote.
Even the NFL’s X account got in on the act and posted: “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party was amazing. Take a bow, Snoop Dogg and Netflix.”
Although, some hip-hop fans and Beyoncé enthusiasts said they were not impressed.
One person replied to the Netflix performance post, “Really? Snoop just slapping his name on any holiday gig now?”
Another added, “Sorry Snoop… this Netflix halftime show is kinda cheesy …but I’m assuming middle America likes this, so ok.”
Someone else said they preferred last year’s headliner, writing: “I miss you Beyoncé.”
Guess you can’t please everyone!
“Snoop Dogg’s Holiday Halftime Party” is now streaming as a standalone special on Netflix.
