Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris is angry about claims made by Colman Domingo that she supports the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, Michael.

The 27-year-old model and actress took issue with Euphoria actor Domingo, who plays Joe Jackson in the film, for claiming she’s involved with the Lionsgate project.

“They’re very much in support of our film,” Domingo told People magazine at the Venice Film Festival about Michael Jackson’s children, during an interview on Aug. 31.

Not so, said Paris, who shared her thoughts about the film in her Instagram Stories. Fauxmoi celebrity news Reddit account reposted her video statements on Wednesday.

Tagging Domingo, she said: “Don’t be telling people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I had 0% involvement in lol that is so weird.”

She added, “I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest / didn’t sit right with me, and when they didn’t address it, I moved on with my life. Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and God speed.”

“I wasn’t involved at all, aside from giving feedback on the first draft and then getting the feedback that, ‘yeah, we’re not going to address your notes at all,’” she shared. “So I just butted out. It’s not my project. They’re going to make whatever they’re going to make.”

Paris said from what she read, the movie “panders” to the King of Pop’s fans.

“A big reason why I haven’t said anything up until this point is because I know a lot of you guys are going be happy with it. A big section of the film panders to a very specific section of my dad’s fandom that still lives in the fantasy, and they’re gonna be happy with it,” she added.

She claimed most Hollywood biopics are concocted and “controlled.”

“The thing about these biopics is, it’s Hollywood, so it’s fantasyland. It’s not real, but it’s sold to you as real. The narrative is being controlled. There’s a lot of inaccuracy and there’s a lot of full blown lies and at the end of the day, that doesn’t really fly with me,” she stated. “I don’t really like dishonesty. I spoke up. I wasn’t heard. I f—ed off. That’s it… Leave me out of it.”

Paris denied any resentment toward her late father Michael, who died at age 50 in 2009.

“That’s not my truth. That’s not where I’m coming from,” she said. “I just prefer honesty over sales and monetary gain, that’s it. I kind of just don’t want anything to do with that.”

The Michael biopic is directed by Training Day filmmaker Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King, John Branca and John McClain. The latter two are co-executors of Jackson’s estate.

Michael’s nephew and Paris’ cousin Jaafar Jackson is starring in the movie as the late singer.

As mentioned, the cast includes Domingo as Joe Jackson. Also starring are Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Miles Teller as Branca and Laura Harrier as Suzanne de Passe. Juliano Krue Valdi plays a younger version of Michael.

Michael is currently expected to arrive theaters on April 24, 2026, after the film was delayed.
