YouTuber P2istheName died in March at age 26.
Now nearly three months later, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has released his cause of death.
On Tuesday the coroner’s office said in a news release that the influencer, born Philip Enewally, died from “sudden cardiac dysfunction” due to “solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy.” His manner of death was ruled as natural.
Sudden cardiac dysfunction, also known as sudden cardiac arrest, occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating, according to the American Heart Association. “Most cardiac arrests occur when a diseased heart’s electrical system malfunctions,” the association says.
