The weather was warm in Pasadena, California, and the stars sizzled on the red carpet Saturday night at the 57th NAACP Image Awards.
Many celebs made bold fashion statements in looks right off the runway.
Janelle James opted for an ensemble from Do Long, featuring embellished brown pants and a matching jacket. The Vietnamese fashion house shared a side-by-side photo of James and the runway version in an Instagram Story.

Halle Bailey wowed in a Stéphane Rolland gown. The French fashion house posted pictures of Bailey’s look on Instagram and included the caption, “The sublime @HalleBailey wearing a Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Long dress in coffee brown jersey and gazar.”
The actress’ sister Chloe Bailey wore Christian Siriano. The American designer shared a picture of the look on Instagram and included the caption: “Beautiful @chloebailey in Siriano right off the runway tonight at the #naacpimageawards.”
Kerry Washington stunned in a strapless black and ivory gown from South Carolina designer Sergio Hudson. The designer praised Washington in a video posted to Instagram and described her look as “too fabulous.”
Colman Domingo also opted for a Sergio Hudson ensemble. The actor wore a long mustard coat, with a matching turtleneck and pants. Hudson shared a side-by-side photo of Domingo and the runway model in an Instagram Story.
Domingo’s look was fierce, but it was about 80 degrees outside, so hopefully he stayed cool.
One Battle After Another actress Chase Infiniti oozed old school Hollywood glamour in Tamara Ralph Spring 2026 Couture. The Australian design house called Infiniti “glamorous” on social media, and described her look as a “blush pink and red double satin skirt accompanied by a blush pink ostrich feather stole.”
Infiniti’s co-star, Teyana Taylor, served up sex appeal in a plunging black Ashi Studio couture gown. The Paris fashion brand shared photos on Instagram and described the look as “a bustier dress in midnight black stretch silk satin, moulded to the silhouette with an anatomical bodice.”
The 2026 NAACP Image Awards aired Saturday night on BET.
