The nominations for the 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards are out and newly canceled HGTV series Married to Real Estate is among the nominees.

The first batch of nominations were announced Wednesday night, with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) releasing the full list of nominees on Thursday, July 10.

Married to Real Estate picked up a nod in the Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program category.

Husband and wife hosts Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson shared the news with their followers on Instagram, saying: “We’re deeply honored, wildly grateful, and just bold enough to say yeah, we’re gonna celebrate this one. Huge love to the Academy, our phenomenal crew, and everyone who tuned in.”

HGTV canceled the series last month after four seasons. It was one of four shows (and counting) the network dropped because it was “hemorrhaging money,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

Married to Real Estate will compete at the Emmys against Roku’s Dime Como Hacerlo; BYUtv’s The Fixers;  Magnolia Network’s Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse; Prime Video’s Going Home with Tyler Cameron; and Roku’s Martha Gardens.

In the daytime drama category, only three shows picked up nominations this year — ABC’s General Hospital, Peacock’s Days of Our Lives, and CBS’ The Young and the Restless.

Newcomer Beyond the Gates premiered on CBS in February after the eligibility window closed.

The 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards take place on Oct. 17, in Pasadena, California.
