LisaRaye McCoy’s birthday celebration quickly spiraled out of control on her Fox Soul talk show Cocktails with Queens, when her half-sister Da Brat dropped in for a surprise appearance.
During the episode, Claudia Jordan and fellow co-hosts Vivica A. Fox and Syleena Johnson were all smiles. But McCoy wasn’t happy about her sister’s unexpected appearance, since the two are apparently not on good terms.
The actress was initially speechless, then burst into tears when Da Brat appeared. “I’m shocked,” McCoy said. However, her sister acknowledged she expected that reaction.
“We kinda being a lil bit distant or whatever, so she’s really surprised,” the rapper admitted.

The pair have been estranged since McCoy found out her sister is in a relationship with Jesseca Dupart. The problem — LisaRaye introduced the pair, but she learned they were dating from the blogs. LisaRaye admitted that she felt hurt.
“I just did not want to hear it from the blogs,” she explained. “I didn’t get to hear it from you. I had to see it from someplace else, so I’m hurt. That’s what I am.”
While the other co-hosts tried their best to bring peace to the situation, LisaRaye wasn’t happy about the surprise.
“I don’t care what the f–k y’all saying. At all. Y’all don’t know s–t,” she said.
