Nathan Smith, the 27-year-old son of rapper and producer Lil Jon, has gone missing in Georgia.
The Milton Police Department shared a missing person poster on Facebook, Tuesday, Feb. 3, and appealed to the public for help finding Smith, who is known professionally as DJ Young Slade.
The poster said Smith was last seen on Feb. 3 around 6:00 a.m. in Milton, just north of Atlanta.
“Subject ran out of his house and has been missing since. Subject left on foot and does not possess a phone,” police said.
Smith is described as having brown eyes, short black hair, and stands at 5’9″ tall. The poster noted that his parents, Lil Jon and estranged wife Nicole Smith, are worried.
“He may be disoriented and in need of assistance,” police said about Nathan. “Family and friends are concerned for his safety.”

Reporter Chase Houle of local news station 11Alive reported Wednesday that Smith wasn’t wearing any clothes when he left his home, and “had none of his belongings.”
A spokesperson for Lil Jon issued a statement to the media, saying: “The family is asking for privacy at this time. We are also asking for continued prayers for Nathan to come home safe. Thank you.”
Smith is a DJ and according to his Instagram page, he has appeared on the docuseries, MTV Family Legacy, which chronicle the lives of musicians through the eyes of their children.
His dad Lil Jon, born Jonathan Smith, is a chart-topping artist known for his crunk style of rap. The Grammy-winning rapper released the club anthems “Turn Down for What,” “Snap Yo Fingers,” “Bend Ova,” and a collaboration with The East Side Boyz and Ying Yang Twins called “Get Low.”
