Kerry Washington is returning to Netflix for the new psychological thriller An Innocent Girl.
Washington will star in and executive produce the upcoming film from Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra (Non-Stop), the streamer announced in a press release Thursday, Feb. 5.
Washington is joined in the cast by James Marsden (Paradise) and Chloe East (No Good Deed).
The film tells the story of a young and ambitious woman who is “seduced by a high powered D.C. couple, she’s drawn into a dangerous world of sex, power, and murder,” according to the official description.
Michael Mohan, Marc Guggenheim, and Carly Wray wrote the script. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter produce for Berlanti/Schechter Films.
Washington has appeared in several Netflix films, and was most recently in Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and the Tyler Perry war drama The Six Triple Eight.
A release date for An Innocent Girl will be announced later.
