The federal government released millions of pages related to the Jeffrey Epstein case on Friday, and the documents list the names of several high-profile figures, including rap mogul Jay-Z, disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, and rapper Pusha T.
“The Department of Justice today published over 3 million additional pages responsive to the Epstein Files Transparency Act,” federal officials said in a press release, noting that 2,000 videos and 180,000 images were being made public as well.
Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November 2025 amid public and political pressure on the Trump administration to release files related to the case.
In one newly released document (which can be viewed here), the same accuser mentioned Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, Harvey Weinstein and Pusha T, born Terrence LeVarr Thornton.
The trio’s names appeared on an “intake report” from an FBI hotline in 2019. At the time, the bureau was encouraging people to call in tips about Epstein.
The redacted document details a tip given by an unidentified female who called the FBI Operations Center and said she was a victim of sexual abuse by Epstein and others.
The caller said in approximately 1996, an unknown man abducted her from her home and she “later awoke in the presence of Harvey Weinstein and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) while Weinstein had inserted his fingers into (redacted).” The caller believed she was in Epstein’s mansion in Florida at the time.
The alleged victim said she was “abducted on seven occasions,” and abused multiple times, “in which Epstein participated.” The caller said she believed she was drugged each time, “clouding her memory.”
“(Redacted name) attributed the drugging as frequently performed by persons assigned as handlers, whom she described as persons who established friendships with the victims. Among her handlers, she identified the artist Pusha T,” the document said.
The caller reported she was concerned about her safety and said she believed “she was under surveillance and stalked at the direction of the people involved.”
It should be noted that these are all allegations, and being named does not prove wrongdoing. It’s unclear if the government ever followed up on the tips it received.
According to the Associated Press, the newly released documents also said Tesla founder Elon Musk contacted Epstein at least twice about visiting the convicted sex offender’s infamous island, and Musk asked when the “wildest party” would occur.
President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton were mentioned in intake reports as well.
In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges in Florida for solicitating prostitution from someone under age 18, after a 14-year-old girl’s parents told police the teen was abused at his mansion.
In 2019, federal prosecutors in New York charged Epstein with sex trafficking minors. He died by apparent suicide in his jail cell before his trial started.
