Iyanla Vanzant is not done fixing lives.

The spiritual life coach and self-help guru is working on two new television specials to help people “fix” their lives.

OWN announced the news on Friday, Feb. 13, saying the specials were greenlit following the successful premiere last month of Iyanla: The Inside Fix.

The series re-examines 12 previously-aired episodes of Iyanla: Fix My Life, with Vanzant taking lessons from the past to uncover new paths toward healing.

According to OWN, the Jan. 17 premiere of The Inside Fix resonated with viewers and was among the top-rated shows in its timeslot with African American women. The show airs Saturday nights on OWN.

“The response to The Inside Fix has been nothing short of a blessing,” Vanzant said in a statement Friday.

“The series is a ministry of healing. Each story, each tear, each moment of truth is a sacred encounter with the human soul,” she added.

“Those who watch are not bystanders, they are participants in the collective healing process for themselves, their families, their communities, and the world. It is not about fixing your life. It is about freeing your soul. No more surface solutions. This is where truth becomes transformation.”

The two upcoming specials will follow Vanzant as she sits down with people in crisis, in front of a studio audience.

“Each special will dive deep into the heart of community and family dynamics, continuing Vanzant’s mission to help people ‘fix’ their lives from the inside out,” per OWN.

While fans will likely embrace the special, many have said on social media they’d like to see new episodes of Fix My Life. But in a recent interview with Urban Hollywood 411, Vanzant said she’s moved on.

“Absolutely not,” she stated. “First of all, we don’t have to work that hard anymore. Fix My Life was hard work for three to five days. You saw 48 minutes, but we’re living in a time and an energy, where we don’t have to work like that anymore.”

Vanzant noted that the confrontations on the show were exhausting and some participants refused to take responsibility for their actions.

“Very often, people came to Fix My Life, not just reality stars, they came thinking the problem was one thing, and when we got into it, they discovered it was something else. So it’s like, ‘What? No, it’s not me,’” Vanzant said.

Production on her new specials is set to begin in March.
