Retired Chicago Detective Pamela Childs joins forces with Investigation Discovery  for the true crime series, Hunt for the Missing: Chicago.

The upcoming series follows Childs as she revisits missing persons cases that have gone cold, and tries to get answers for distraught families.

In a press release this week, ID channel said the series will take on some of Chicago’s most notorious unsolved cases.

Among those cases is the disappearance of Kierra Coles, a pregnant, 26-year-old postal worker whose story made local headlines when she vanished in 2018.

The series also re-investigates the disappearance of a teenage girl, and the search for a man whose case is tied to a string of violent crimes.

“My mission is to return to the cases others left behind,” Childs says in the trailer. “Nobody just disappears.”

Hunt for the Missing: Chicago premieres Wednesday, March 4 at 10/9c on ID, with new episodes airing weekly. Each episode will be available to stream on HBO Max.

The series is produced for Investigation Discovery by Blackfin, a division of Lionsgate Alternative Television, Mainstay Entertainment, and Gary Sherman Films.
