A legal battle between Fat Joe and his former hype man, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, took a disturbing turn Thursday, when Dixon filed a $20 million lawsuit accusing the rapper of engaging in sex acts with minors.

The 157-page complaint, filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on June 19, contains so many troubling allegations that there’s a trigger warning on the first page.

Dixon says he worked with Fat Joe for over 16 years, including as a vocalist, ghostwriter, and as a member of the rapper’s security staff.

The hype man alleges “he personally witnessed [Fat Joe] engage in sexual relations with children who were fifteen and sixteen years old,” according to the complaint obtained by Variety.

The lawsuit alleges Fat Joe transported the teenagers across international and state borders, housed them, and bought them gifts.

Fat Joe, born Joseph Cartagena, vehemently denied the allegations through his attorney.

Underage Girls
The lawsuit describes a 16-year-old Dominican girl, who allegedly performed “oral sex and other sexual acts” on the Bronx rapper “in exchange for cash, clothing, and payment of her cell phone bill.”

The complaint lists “Minor Doe 2″ as a Caucasian female who is not from the U.S. “[Fat Joe] began having sexual relations with Minor Doe 2 when she was 15 years old after a concert overseas.”

The lawsuit alleges the “Lean Back” rapper flew the girl to New York City and Miami “on numerous occasions.” It additionally alleges the rapper “paid for her to get a Brazilian Butt Lift” because her body was not yet fully developed. The complaint says Minor Doe 2 is now married to a professional athlete.

Minor Doe 3 is described as a Latina female who met the rapper when she was 15, about to turn 16. “[Fat Joe] was in love with Minor Doe 3. He even contemplated leaving his wife. The Defendant paid all Minor Doe 3’s bills and even took her overseas to his tour stops.”

The lawsuit alleges the rapper “put the girl up” in a condo he rented a few blocks from his house with his wife. Fat Joe was in his 30s at the time, the lawsuit says. At some point, Minor Doe 3 and her 15-year-old cousin had a “recorded conversation” with the rapper and told him it was “inappropriate” to be “fawning over children.”

Forced Sexual Encounters
Dixon alleges the superstar rapper and frequent BET Hip Hop Awards host forced him to take part in “more than 4,000 sexual acts to maintain his standing within the Enterprise.”

The lawsuit alleges Fat Joe arranged the encounters, with one incident taking place in Miami. According to Dixon, Fat Joe brought a woman to his hotel suite and ordered Dixon to have sex with her in front of others, yelling, “Get your dick hard T.A.!”

“In many instances, [Fat Joe] remained present during these encounters, watching, recording, or issuing verbal commands and commentary,” the complaint alleges.

Celebrity Lawyers
Dixon is represented by attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who filed multiple sexual abuse lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Blackburn’s client, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, sued Combs on Feb. 26, 2024, alleging sexual assault, sex trafficking, gun and drug distribution. Four weeks later, federal agents raided the music mogul’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

In a statement late Thursday, Fat Joe’s attorney Joe Tacopina accused Blackburn and Dixon of spreading “lies” in “retaliation” against the chart-topping rapper.

Tacopina claims the retaliation is in response to Fat Joe filing a civil lawsuit in April against Dixon, accusing him of defamation and extortion.

At the time, Complex reported Dixon had been feuding with Fat Joe over payment for work he reportedly did as a ghostwriter and uncredited vocalist. Dixon alleged on Instagram that Fat Joe was sexually abusing an underage girl and the rapper sued him.

Tacopina says Blackburn and Dixon are now plotting their revenge.

“The lawsuit filed by Tyrone Blackburn and Terrance Dixon is a blatant act of retaliation — a desperate attempt to deflect attention from the civil suit we filed first, which exposed their coordinated scheme to extort Mr. Cartagena through lies, threats, and manufactured allegations,” Tacopina said in a statement.

“We didn’t just sue a disgruntled former employee trying to revive a false claim from 15 years ago — we sued the lawyer behind it all,” Tacopina added.

He then criticized Blackburn and said the attorney has a “well-documented pattern of abusing the courts to harass defendants and generate media attention.”

Tacopina says his office has contacted law enforcement about the lawsuit, adding that the allegations against Fat Joe are “complete fabrications — lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure.”

RICO Allegations
Dixon is also suing Pete “Pistol Pete” Torres and Richard “Rich Player” Jospitre, which the suit alleges are associates in Fat Joe’s “criminal enterprise.”

The complaint alleges violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and accuses the enterprise of “fraudulent concealment, fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and money laundering.”

Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, which represents Fat Joe, is named as well. Dixon accuses the company of “concealing, transferring, and manipulating” his authorship rights and royalties.
