Gina Huynh, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend who prosecutors referred to as “Victim 3,” has written a letter to the judge in the case pleading for Combs to be released on bail.
The music mogul’s legal team submitted the letter to Judge Arun Subramanian on Sunday, Aug. 3, as part of its response to a motion filed by prosecutors last week saying Combs should remain jailed as he awaits sentencing because he is a “danger” to the community.
Huynh was part of the prosecution’s case, but she disappeared and prosecutors told the judge they were unable to find her.
She has since reappeared and in her letter, Huynh insisted Combs is a committed family man.
“I am writing as the person identified as Victim 3 in this case. I have known Sean Combs for many years in both a personal and professional capacity,” the letter read. “From that experience I have seen him primarily as a father, a family man and a businessman, roles that he has always striven to uphold.”

The letter went on to say their relationship was “not always perfect,” but the Bad Boy Records founder has changed.
“To my knowledge, he has not been violent for many years and he has committed to being a father first,” the letter stated, adding, “I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community.”
The model and social media influencer signed the letter Virginia Huynh.
On July 2, Combs was acquitted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, but a federal jury in Manhattan found him guilty on two lesser prostitution-related counts. That day, Judge Subramanian denied the mogul’s $1 million bail request after reading letters from some of the mogul’s alleged victims.
Combs’ attorneys filed another bail request on July 29, which included an offer for $50 million bond, home detention, and surrendering his past passport. Prosecutors filed a motion on July 31, saying they were opposed to releasing him before he is sentenced on Oct. 3 because he has shown a “disregard for the rule of law.”
Huynh did not testify in Combs’ trial because prosecutors said she wasn’t answering their calls.
The day before the jury came back with the verdict, TMZ released a video interview with Huynh and she said Combs never did anything “dangerous” to her.
Huynh’s comments contradicted a lengthy interview she did with podcaster Tasha K in June 2019.
In the interview titled “I was in an abusive relationship with Diddy for 5 years,” she detailed horrific alleged physical and verbal abuse, and said Combs had forced her to have an abortion.
“He stomped on my stomach really hard — like, took the wind out of my breath,” Huynh alleged. “I couldn’t breathe. He kept hitting me. I was pleading to him, ‘Can you just stop? I can’t breathe.’”
Huynh said Combs dated multiple other women while they were together, including R&B singer Cassie Ventura.
She told Tasha K by 2018, she had grown tired of “his s–t” and started to fight back.
One day, she said a fight occurred at the mogul’s home while his children were present. Huynh recalled getting up and leaving Combs’ bedroom. She said she went to his meditation room, which was in a guest house. She said she smashed a bottle of DeLeon tequila on the ground in self defense as Combs followed her.
He said, “B–ch you did that at my house with my kids here. B–h, my kids is here.”
Huynh said she tried to run away from the furious mogul.
“He chased after me and he pushed me to the ground outside, and took my hair and was dragging me across the grass by my hair,” she said. “After that, we had guests coming over. He just acted like nothing happened.”
Tasha K sounded shocked by what she was hearing and said, “That’s a lot.”
