Testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial won’t resume until Friday.
Court was unexpectedly adjourned early Wednesday after a juror experienced vertigo and returned home, People magazine reported.
“We have a sick juror,” Judge Arun Subramanian said. “I don’t think there’s any way for us to proceed today.”
There is no court on Thursday because of the Juneteenth holiday.

That means Brendan Paul, who worked as a personal assistant for Combs and was accused in a lawsuit of being a “drug mule” for the embattled music mogul, likely won’t take the stand until Friday, June 20.
Paul was arrested by local police at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on March 25, 2024, as federal agents raided Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles.
At the time, police said they found what was believed to be cocaine and gummies laced with marijuana in Paul’s luggage. He was initially charged with two felony drug possession counts.
In May 2024, Paul’s attorney told NBC 6 Miami that his client agreed to a plea deal requiring him to enter a six-month diversion program in exchange for having the case against him dismissed.
Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleged Paul was involved in a host of illegal activity in a sexual assault lawsuit Jones filed against Combs in February 2024.
“Brendan Paul: Works as Mr. Combs Mule. He acquires, and distributes, Mr. Combs Drugs, and Guns,” the lawsuit alleged.
The suit included pictures of Paul with Combs, and said the then-25-year-old assistant was among a group of Combs’ staffers “responsible for ensuring payment to sex workers in cash.”
Paul, who grew up in Ohio, played college basketball for two seasons at Syracuse University in New York before transferring in 2020 to Fairmont State University in West Virginia, Syracuse.com reported.
His player profile on the Syracuse University website said he majored in sports management and made the honor roll.
