Unreleased music from Beyoncé contained on hard drives was stolen from her choreographer’s rental car just before the start of four concert dates in Atlanta.
The theft occurred earlier this month at the city’s Krog Street Market, a popular tourist and dining destination. Besides the music, set lists and footage plans for the Grammy-winning singer’s “Cowboy Carter” shows were stolen, NBC News reported on Monday, July 14. Apple headphones, as well as luxury clothing and accessories, were also taken.
On July 8, choreographer Christopher Grant parked and went into the market with a friend around 8:10 p.m. They returned an hour later, and found the back window of their Jeep Wagoneer damaged and both of their suitcases were taken.
A police report was filed, but reps for Beyoncé did not respond to a request for comment.

Officers tracked the victims’ computers and AirPods. They also found fingerprints on the car and have video footage from security cameras.
“Someone broke into my car,” a caller told an Atlanta police dispatcher in a 911 recording obtained by TMZ. “They stole my computers and everything. But it has a tracker on it, so I can see where it is… it’s really, really important information. Like I work with someone who’s of a high status and I really need my computer at this time.”
Police said a warrant has been issued for a suspect, but they have not yet released a name. Police have not said if the music has been recovered.
Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour began in April and will conclude in Las Vegas on July 26.
