The finale of Basketball Wives brought rumors of an extramarital affair, brutal insults, and “accountability” for last week’s mother-daughter fight.

Season 12, episode 12 titled “Threesome, Two, One, Action!” aired Monday, July 28. It opened with the group’s trip to Hawaii ending and the cast wondering why things went so wrong.

After last week’s physical altercation between Jackie Christie and her daughter Chantel Christie-Jeffries, text on screen said the two “left for the airport separately from one another, and the group.”

Unpacking the Hawaii Trip
Once the women returned to Los Angeles, Ty Young met for drinks with Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams to discuss the chaos in Hawaii. Former friends Evelyn and Jennifer put their differences aside to sit down and discuss the drama.

“Hawaii was a lot for all of us and I don’t have a problem co-existing with Jennifer,” Evelyn said.

Ty admitted she felt guilty for suggesting Chantel go to Jackie’s hotel room to talk because the mother-daughter conversation ended with Chantel pushing her mom and calling her a “dumbass b—h,” Jackie throwing a punch, and security separating the two as Chantel tried to hit Jackie with her purse.

Ty and Evelyn said Jackie was wrong to hit Chantel. Jennifer said she wanted to hear Jackie’s side of what happened.

Jackie Starts Affair Rumor
Jennifer went to visit Jackie to see how she was doing after the Hawaii meltdown.

Jackie apologized to Jennifer for saying she had a “long face” on the trip. Jennifer accepted the apology and invited Jackie to the premiere of her first feature film she produced called “Shattered,” which features the two reality stars together on screen.

“I can’t act like I didn’t hear what the hell was going on,” Jennifer said about the fight. “I heard that there was some s–t that went down with you and Chantel.”

Jackie deflected, got up to get a drink, mentioned having a FaceTime date with her husband, former NBA star Doug Christie, and changed the subject by sharing a rumor about Brandi Maxiell and Ming Lee.

“Some guy called my phone and said Brandi asked him to come over, and he’s like, ‘Brandi’s going out with Ming and they’re hanging out and doing stuff,'” Jackie told Jen.

Jennifer responded by saying Brandi and her husband, retired NBA star Jason Maxiell, are in a good place after previous problems, and the rumor didn’t make sense. In a confessional interview, Jennifer criticized Jackie.

“It’s so crazy to me how Jackie wants to talk about everybody else’s s–t, girl why are you speculating that Brandi is cheating on her husband and doing threesomes? Let’s talk about what you got going on.”

Brandi Calls Jennifer Out
Ming told Brandi about the rumor earlier over drinks, which made Brandi laugh.

But when Brandi came face-to-face with Jennifer at Ming’s haircare product launch event, she let Jen have it. All the ladies were there except Jackie, who was shown in a car and said she was “tired of the nonsense.”

Back in the event, Brandi turned toward Jennifer as the rest of the group watched.

“It was brought to my attention that you were spreading rumors that I was having an affair and having threesomes with Ming,” Brandi said.

“Oh, Jackie said that,” Jennifer told her. “But did you spread it?” Brandi asked.

Jennifer admitted she did repeat the rumor and Brandi went off. The fireworks were just getting started.

Evelyn Calls Brittany a Broke B
Evelyn asked the group if there were any other issues they needed to address.

Jennifer stirred up more ish by telling the ladies Brittany Renner can’t stand some of them.

“Brittany said y’all are low vibrational and she don’t wanna be around y’all,” Jennifer said.

Evelyn asked Brittany what she ever did to her. Brittany answered, “You ran your mouth.” Evelyn told Brittany she was guilty of doing the same thing.

Once again, Brittany went low. Instead of having a civil conversation, she called Evelyn a “fake a– b—ch” and started screaming at the top of her lungs.

Ming’s mom was at her launch event and looked at Brittany sideways.

Evelyn told Brittany she’s a “phony,” who constantly curses, yet walks around wearing a hijab, and claims to be on a spiritual journey.

Brittany told Evelyn it’s sad that she’s 50, with an OnlyFans page. Evelyn shot back by telling Brittany she’s a broke B, who sucked 100 d–ks with nothing to show for it. Brittany corrected her and said “it’s actually 36 [d–ks], get it right girl.”

In Evelyn’s defense,  Brittany did admit publicly she was struggling financially after converting to Islam and no longer posting salacious influencer content online.

Chantel asked Brittany and Evelyn, “How did we get here?”

Evelyn told her, it didn’t matter. She asked Chantel, why she continues to attach herself to Brittany.

“She’s a cancer,” Evelyn said about Brittany before walking out.

The show intercut between scenes of Evelyn and Jackie walking out after explosive clashes this season.

Final Thoughts
The episode ended with the women sharing their thoughts on the season.

Brandi said Brittany has a long way to go on her journey. Although Brandi admitted it’s not easy being part of the group. Brandi said she’s spent a lot of time working on herself and continues to grow.

Chantel and Brittany bonded with Denise Garcia. The trio called themselves the “Big Three” all season. Fans on VH1’s Instagram page called for the network to boot the trio.

Jennifer said she’s much more confident than she was when she joined the franchise years ago.

Season 12 newcomers Ty and Ming put aside their differences, with Ming saying she’s open to forgiveness.

Chantel admitted she made mistakes with her mom and their fight was her “worst nightmare.”

“I take accountability for where I went wrong,” she said, although her comments didn’t mesh with the defiant statement she posted on Instagram just a few days ago.

The cameras cut to Jackie saying the women have been trying to tear her down, “but it’s never going to work.”

Jackie said her life is good, especially after her husband was officially named head coach of the Sacramento Kings last month.

“I’m so honored and happy for my husband,” Jackie said and drove away leaving a lot of unanswered questions. Wonder how Doug feels about the fight.
