New to the franchise is Ariana Grande, who previously had a role on Murphy’s short-lived comedy series Scream Queens. Grande will next be seen in the film Wicked: For Good, which opens Nov. 21.
The AHS teaser ends with the message saying: “Surprise, b–h! I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me,” in a nod to Emma Roberts’ season 3 character Madison Montgomery.
AHS season 12 titled American Horror Story: Delicate premiered on FX in September 2023, with part 2 debuting in April 2024. The season featured Kim Kardashian alongside Roberts, Lourd, Grossman, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Denis O’Hare, Cara Delevingne, Julie White, and Maaz Ali.
The story centered on fictional actress Anna Victoria Alcott, who after multiple failed attempts at IVF, wanted nothing more than to start a family. But she felt like something was targeting her and blocking her dream of motherhood.
The theme for the 13th season has not yet been revealed.
Ryan Murphy co-created the anthology series with Brad Falchuk, which is produced by 20th Television and Ryan Murphy productions.
