Samuel L. Jackson is ready to bring a new hustle to the Texas suburbs now that Frisco King has a premiere date.

The Tulsa King spinoff is set to arrive on Dec. 18, Paramount+ announced Thursday. The series will begin streaming with two episodes, followed by a new episode every Friday.

Jackson leads the cast as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a seasoned New Orleans gangster who sees opportunities to make money in suburban Frisco, Texas.

In a newly released teaser trailer, Lee admits his work may be considered “outside the law” as he stacks up cash.

“You want a gangster,” he asks before unleashing a wave of violence. “Not so sure now, are you?”

The series comes with the tagline, “A New King Rises.”

Written by Taylor Sheridan, the crime drama follows Lee as he builds a criminal enterprise with help from an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver and a growing network of eccentric partners.

Jackson reprises the role he introduced in season 3 of Tulsa King. The new spinoff follows Lee as he heads to Texas after declining an assignment from New York mobsters to kill Dwight “The General” Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone.

The two characters share a history dating back to federal prison, where Dwight saved Lee’s life roughly 20 years before the events of Tulsa King.

Stallone will make a special appearance in the new series. The cast also includes Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann.

Frisco King is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, with Sheridan, Stallone and Jackson serving as executive producers. The series was filmed in Fort Worth, Texas.

David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, LaTanya Richardson Jackson and Keith Cox also executive produce.

Voros and Friedman each directed four episodes, with Voros directing the pilot.
