Sean “Diddy” Combs will reportedly get another taste of solitary confinement after a new report alleged he’s been living like a king in federal prison.

TMZ reported Wednesday, Sept. 30, the 56-year-old music mogul is returning to the Special Housing Unit, known as the SHU, at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

Multiple sources told the outlet the move comes in response to an NBC News report detailing his allegedly “pampered” life behind bars.

NBC published its report Tuesday, describing a prison lifestyle that allegedly includes massages, specialty meals, contraband cellphones, and Hennessy. The outlet obtained photos and video of Combs appearing to hold a cell phone.

The network spoke with four men who were housed in the same unit as Combs and agreed not to publish their names.

The men said other inmates cook for the Bad Boy Records founder, clean for him, make his bed, and do his laundry. One inmate allegedly gives him Chinese-style massages.

“This is not some normal s–t you see in jail. This is some rich s–t,” one of the men said. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

Combs allegedly spends thousands of dollars a month to maintain the arrangement at the low-security correctional facility. People working on his behalf outside prison reportedly deposit money into other inmates’ commissary accounts in exchange for services.

Sources told NBC Combs uses contraband cellphones to scroll Instagram and view nude and sexually explicit photos sent by a former girlfriend.

He also allegedly buys Remeron, an antidepressant, from other inmates. The sources said the drug is known in prison as “rem-roms” and is used for its mood-boosting effects.

The report also included allegations that prison guards smuggle liquor to Combs, which he shares with a small group of fellow inmates.

“Hell yeah, I drank with him,” said one of the men, who claimed he indulged in Hennessy with Combs.

NBC also published photos of food it said was prepared for the mogul. Sources told the network curry chicken, pizza and empanadas were made using a makeshift heating element submerged in water.

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson said the agency does not comment on individual inmates for “privacy, safety and security reasons.”

“Like all correctional agencies, contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics, and weapons, remains a constant challenge, and we continue to tackle the problem of contraband being introduced into our facilities,” the spokesperson added.

A rep for Combs disputed the allegations, saying he follows prison rules.

“The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal,” the spokesperson said.

Combs previously spent time in solitary confinement following a reported brawl with another inmate earlier this year.

He is serving a 50-month sentence following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, he’s currently scheduled to be released on Jan. 21, 2028. His release date was moved up after initially being set for June 2028.
