Fans are expressing concern for Ray J after he shared another troubling health update.
Months after the singer, reality star and streamer claimed he might not make it past 2027, he returned to social media over the weekend and said his health is deteriorating.
“My liver is f–ked up. My heart is still f–ked up,” Ray J said during a Kick livestream he reposted to Instagram on Sept. 27.
Still, he admitted he hadn’t been to a doctor for a checkup. “I wake up and I know it. I still don’t give a f–k. I still haven’t went and got it checked,” he said.
As ominous music played over the video, the “One Wish” singer said an ambulance could one day rush to his home and it might be too late.
“Eventually, like, n–s is gonna die. What else is gonna happen? The ambulance is gonna come and hopefully we make it through,” he said. “But if we die, s–t, n–s will be like, ‘It’s about time, we was waiting.’ It’s not okay.”
His sister, R&B singer Brandy Norwood, responded in the comment section with reassuring words.
“You’re fine Bro!!! I am gonna continue to help take care of you,” she wrote.
Others urged him to stay positive and take steps to improve his health.
“Ray you can start cleansing your liver through juicing,” one person wrote.
“The body is designed to recover…..luckily for you, you have an amazing support system and lots of resources to assist,” someone else shared.
Ray J, born William Ray Norwood Jr., was hospitalized in January for chest pains and pneumonia.
Weeks after his hospitalization, the Love & Hip Hop star posted an update to social media claiming he was told he only had months to live.
“2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” the singer shared. “That’s what they say.”
He blamed his hard partying lifestyle and said, “I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro.”
A friend in the video urged him to remain positive. “F–k the doctor. You’re gonna live long,” his friend said.
Ray J has a history of personal problems and publicity stunts, making it difficult to assess how serious his health problems are.
Since claiming he was living on borrowed time, he has launched an MMA career.
In May, he fought YouTuber and comedian Supa Hot Fire. But the match did not go well for Ray J, who was knocked out in the second round.
