Netflix subscribers are going wild for the animated creatures in Swapped.

The family film featuring the voices of Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple debuted on May 1, and quickly set a new record on the streamer’s viewing chart.

Last week Netflix reported Swapped premiered at No. 1 on its English-language film list with 38.7 million views. That marked the most views ever in a single week for an animated movie released by Netflix.

The family film follows a small woodland creature, voiced by Jordan, and a bird, played by Temple. The two are natural enemies, but suddenly swap bodies and learn to work together “to survive the wildest adventure of their lives,” according to the official description.

Tracy Morgan, Cedric the Entertainer, Justina Machado, Ambika Mod, and Lolly Adefope also have voice roles in the film.

Swapped was followed on the movie chart by survival action thriller Apex with 16.2 million views, and the Sally Field comedy-drama Remarkably Bright Creatures with 10.4 million views.

On the TV side, actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II had reason to celebrate. His Man on Fire remake is currently the No. 1 English-language series with 12.6 million views.

Abdul-Mateen leads the cast as former Special Forces agent John Creasy, who reluctantly joins a security detail in Brazil with former colleague Paul Rayburn, played by Bobby Cannavale. Before Creasy starts his new job, a deadly terror attack destroys Rayburn’s home.

A devastated Creasy sets off on a revenge campaign while also trying to protect his friend’s teenage daughter, who witnessed the attack. The cast includes Billie Boullet, Alice Braga, Scoot McNairy, and Paul Ben-Victor.

In addition to starring in a role made famous by Denzel Washington in the film version, Abdul-Mateen is an executive producer on the series.

Man on Fire was followed on the TV chart by Should I Marry A Murderer? Limited Series and Worst Ex Ever: Season 2 — both with 8 million views.
