Tameka “Tiny” Harris opens up about loyalty and longevity on the latest episode of TV One’s Uncensored.

In the episode premiering Thursday, March 26, she traces her journey from an aspiring teenage singer to a chart-topping artist, wife and mother.

Tiny says she faced criticism in the early days of Xscape when she got pregnant before the group’s first album was released. She recalls producer-manager Jermaine Dupri warning her career would suffer if she had a baby.

“I was pregnant and right before we came out, Jermaine was like, ‘You can’t have this baby. You’re about to come out. You’re about to be an artist.’ I felt like I didn’t have a choice. So, I didn’t end up having that baby,” she shares in a preview clip.

The singer-songwriter also discusses her relationship with husband T.I. After meeting the then-up-and-coming rapper, Tiny says she was drawn to his ambition and “potential” as an artist.

“It’s crazy because it’s 24 years [together], and we’ve been married for 15 years,” she shares in another clip.

While Tiny notes that the two have faced challenges, she says their relationship continues to grow and improve.

“In any relationship you have your ups and downs, and you have your moments. Like, tomorrow, I might not like him, but today I love him,” she explains.

Tiny says she’s glad the two made an effort to work through problems and challenges.

“It just seems like the love keeps getting better and better,” she says. “If I had left a long time ago, I wouldn’t have the amazing man that I have today.
