Wendy Williams is ready to bring more “Hot Topics” to TV.

The talk show diva announced Tuesday that season 12 of The Wendy Williams Show will debut in September.

“The 12th season of WENDY starts SEPTEMBER 21!!!” Williams shared on Instagram. “I can’t wait to get back to all of YOU and to my AMAZING staff and crew!!! I’m sooo excited to bring you silly, funny, glamour and hopefully brighten your day during these crazy times that we’re all living in…even if for just an hour. I miss you and can’t wait to get back in my purple chair and show you what we did to the set. I L?VE you for watching!”

The syndicated daytime series shut down production in March amid the coronavirus outbreak.

After a three-and-a-half week hiatus, the show returned to the airwaves on Monday April 6, with at home episodes shot at a dining table in Williams’ New York apartment.

But in mid-May, the series was placed on hiatus due to “symptoms from her Graves’ disease.”

“In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment,” a spokesperson for the show said at the time.

In 2019, The Wendy Williams Show was renewed by the Fox Television Stations group through season 13, extending it to the 2021-2022 season.
