President Donald Trump is sharing his thoughts on ABC’s cancellation of Roseanne.
The president took to Twitter Wednesday to ask why Disney CEO Bob Iger, who oversees ABC, called former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to apologize for Roseanne Barr’s offensive tweet, but hasn’t called him to discuss “HORRIBLE statements” made on the network about his presidency.

“Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that ‘ABC does not tolerate comments like those’ made by Roseanne Barr,” Trump tweeted. “Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?”

On Tuesday, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey announced the network was pulling the plug on Roseanne after Barr went on a Twitter tirade about Jarrett, Chelsea Clinton and Democratic donor George Soros.
After facing a huge backlash over her comment describing Jarrett as an offspring of Islamist organization Muslim Brotherhood and the movie Planet of the Apes, Barr said she was leaving Twitter.
She returned to the social media platform hours later, and apologized to the cast and crew of Roseanne who lost their jobs when the show was canceled, but later deleted the tweet. In another since-deleted tweet, she blamed her controversial comments on the prescription sleeping drug Ambien.
The maker of Ambien slammed Barr Wednesday on Twitter, saying: “While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.”
