Tiffany Haddish apparently wasn’t ready for her New Year’s Eve stand-up gig.
The comedian, who’s known for her catchphrase “she ready,” bombed during her show at the James L. Knight Center in Miami on Monday night.
Haddish forgot some of her jokes, and the ones she did remember reportedly fell flat. Many fans were steamed and started walking out.

The comedian took to Twitter Tuesday to confirm reports that her last show of 2018 landed with a thud.
“Yes this happened. I wish it was better Miami. I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never happened again. Tiffany Haddish Bombs, Drinks with Fans Instead,” she tweeted, along with a link to a news story about the show from The Root.

TMZ posted video of the show, saying Haddish “wasn’t connecting with the audience.”
The Nobody’s Fool actress can be heard on the clip saying, “This is weird for me. Now, this is gonna be on TMZ or whatever.”
She eventually opened a bottle of Ciroc and started drinking with the audience, TMZ reported.

Many unhappy patrons took to Twitter to vent about the show.
“@TiffanyHaddish luv u but ur Miami show was worst I’ve ever seen. She definitely wasn’t ready. leave that in 2018 and get ready in 2019!” one person tweeted.

“Tiffany Haddish just bombed her show in Miami,” someone else added. “We left in the middle of her set along with a lot of other people. Very disappointed, I hope that you are better prepared before your next show. #SheNotReady.”

Someone else mentioned comedian Katt Williams’ recent comments criticizing Haddish’s stand-up abilities, tweeting Tuesday morning: “Tiffany Haddish forgot her jokes Live on stage! Damn , Katt Williams tried to tell y’all.”

The next stop on Haddish’s “She Ready Tour” is in Las Vegas on Jan. 25. Hopefully things will go better.
