Tamron Hall Previews Daytime Talk Show: ‘I’m In There With You’

Tamron Hall can’t wait to get her new daytime talk show off the ground.

Hall, who first announced her production deal with Disney-ABC in August, took to Twitter Monday to share a preview of what her project will offer fans.

“I’m thrilled to announce my partnership with the ABC Owned Television Stations to launch my new @Disney and @ABCEntertainment talk show next fall!” the 48-year-old journalist captioned a video of herself. “Here’s a sneak peek of what we’re cooking up for you all!”

Investigation Discovery’s Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall host went on to share with her followers that the show — set to premiere in fall 2019 —  will hone in on “real” communities.

“I want to extend this very real community to daytime,” she said in the clip. “You know when people say, ‘I wanna make you cry, I wanna make you laugh,’ I don’t wanna make you do anything. I wanna do it with you. I want you to know that I’m in there with you. I’m the girl next door, and you’re my neighbor. We are all community.”

The show will air on ABC-owned stations, and Deadline reported Monday that it could replace Rachel Ray or Right This MinuteRachel Ray currently airs on three of the eight ABC stations, while Right This Minute runs on all eight.

ABC Owned Television Stations Group president Wendy McMahon said she’s thrilled to have Hall join the team.

“We’re excited to bring Tamron Hall to our ABC Owned Stations next fall and are confident she’ll be a unique and welcome voice in daytime,” McMahon said in a statement. “Tamron is refreshingly authentic and approachable. She genuinely cares about people, their struggles and their triumphs. We know she’ll connect with our audiences in a personal and positive way.”

Prior to scoring the talk show deal, the reporter worked for MSNBC, NBC News, and she hosted her own show, NewsNation with Tamron Hall.

Hall has earned three Emmy nominations for her reporting, most notably for her NBC News segment, “The Inauguration of Barack Obama.”
