Emmys Add Regina King, Nick Cannon, Kerry Washington as Presenters

The final Emmy presenters were announced Friday with Regina King, Nick Cannon, and Kerry Washington among the stars set to hand out awards.

Other names on the list include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Marisa Tomei, and Jharrel Jerome of When They See Us, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences said in a press release.

This new group joins previously announced presenters, including Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Billy Porter, Zendaya, and the cast of Game of Thrones.

Sunday’s awards come a week after the Primetime Creative Arts Emmys, which included awards for documentaries, reality TV and variety specials. During the two-night ceremony, Leaving Neverland was
named outstanding doc, and Live In Front Of A Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s ‘All in the Family’ and ‘The Jeffersons’ won outstanding variety special (live).

The Emmy Awards are going hostless this year in an effort to move the show along faster.

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards air live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT on Fox.
