‘Red Table Talk’ Sets Premiere With Conversation About Traumatic Hair Experiences

Red Table Talk returns to Facebook Watch on Wednesday, Sept. 15, with a candid conversation about traumatic hair experiences.

The premiere episode titled “Jada Goes Bald” features hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris returning to the table to discuss their worst hair experiences, the streaming talk show announced Friday in a press release.

For the premiere, comedian Tiffany Haddish crashes the red table to find out why Jada shaved her head. Insecure actress Yvonne Orji also stops by to share her personal hair journey. During the conversation, Tiffany, Jada and Yvonne will share why they decided to go bald.

Jada debuted a freshly shaved head in a July Instagram post. “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed,” she captioned a photo of herself with daughter Willow.

Red Table Talk is produced by Westbrook Studios with Jada Pinkett Smith, Ellen Rakieten, Miguel Melendez and Meghan Hoffman serving as executive producers.

The series premiered in 2018. In June 2021, it was named Outstanding Informative Talk Show at the 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Each episode is shot at the Smith’s family home and features Jada, Willow, and Gammy discussing issues affecting women and families with celebrity guests and experts.
