‘Family Reunion’ Renewed for Second Season at Netflix

Netflix is bringing back Family Reunion.

The family comedy starring Loretta Devine, Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Richard Roundtree has been renewed for a second season, the streamer announced this week.

The series, which premiered in July, centers on the McKellan family and the ups and downs that come with several generations living under the same roof.

The second season will include 16 new episodes. But fans don’t have to wait until season 2 for more laughs and family adventures.

Netflix plans to launch a Family Reunion Christmas special on December 9, and nine new episodes from season 1 will begin streaming in January 2020.

Family Reunion is created and executive produced by Meg DeLoatch (Fuller House, Eve). Additional cast members include Anthony Alabi, Talia Jackson, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Cameron J. Wright and Jordyn Raya James.
