Updated on Sunday, May 10, 2020: Byron Allen’s Feeding America Comedy Festival added more stars to the lineup, with Michael Che, Will Smith, Will Ferrell, Wanda Sykes, Stephen Colbert and Colin Quinn joining the charity event, Allen’s Entertainment Studios announced in a press release. Allen will serve as host of the two-hour benefit special, along with Kenan Thompson, Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish. The benefit airs tonight from 7-9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

NBC will broadcast Byron Allen’s Feeding America Comedy Festival event featuring Kevin Hart, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Tiffany Haddish and Chris Rock, the network announced Thursday.
Also taking part via pre-recorded comedy segments will be Louie Anderson, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Wayne Brady, Adam Carolla, Cedric the Entertainer, Margaret Cho, Andrew Dice Clay, Deon Cole, Billy Crystal, Whitney Cummings, Tommy Davidson, Bill Engvall, Mike Epps, Jim Gaffigan, Billy Gardell, Brad Garrett, Whoopi Goldberg, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin James, Jim Jefferies, Jamie Kennedy, Keegan-Michael Key, George Lopez, Jon Lovitz, Howie Mandel, Sebastian Maniscalco, Marc Maron, Tim Meadows, Caroline Rhea, CSarah Silverman, JB Smoove, Kenan Thompson, Marlon Wayans, and more.
“There’s nothing more important right now than doing everything we can to make sure everyone affected by this pandemic is able to feed themselves and their families,” Doug Vaughan, executive vice president of special programs for NBC Entertainment, said in a press release. “We’re honored to be partnering with Feeding America and the amazing work they’re doing to make sure there is food on everyone’s table.”

The festival was announced last week, and will raise money for Feeding America in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Co-produced by the Funny Or Die entertainment brand, Feeding America will simulcast the comedy festival on the Allen Media Group-owned television networks, Comedy.TV and The Weather Channel, as well as on the free streaming service app Local Now from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (ET) on Sunday, May 10, 2020.
