With interest surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle surging after their tell-all interview, Lifetime is prepping a new movie Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace.

The cable network announced details on the film Wednesday, saying it will center on the couple’s exit from royal life.

Here’s the official description: “Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace reveals what really happened inside the palace that drove Harry and Meghan to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie. The movie will detail Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that ‘The Firm’ was not defending them against the press’s attacks and Harry’s fear that history would repeat itself and he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that caused his mother’s untimely death. Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will also reveal the private family feuds between Will and Harry, Kate and Meghan, and Harry with Will and Charles, that lead to the ultimate break from the royal ties.”

The announcement about the film comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an explosive March 7 interview on CBS.

The two-hour broadcast showed the couple unleashing a barrage of bombshells about the royal family, including racism accusations.

It’s unclear if the Lifetime movie will re-enact the Oprah interview, but the film is clearly inspired by what the couple told the queen of talk.

Previous Lifetime movies about the couple include Harry & Meghan released in 2018, and Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal followed in 2019.
